A Letter from the 2011 President
Welcome to the website of the Down Syndrome Society of Mobile County (DSSMC). I would like to thank you for visiting our online home, which has been designed to provide you with information about our programs, upcoming events, and our organization. We also have links to valuable information from state and national resources.
For more than 19 years, the DSSMC has been serving our community by providing support, community events, and education for people with Down syndrome and their families. Our main fundraiser is the Buddy Walk, which enables us to bring these programs and assistance to individuals with Down syndrome and give them the opportunities needed to assist them in becoming valuable members of our community.
